The Xiamen Lianxin Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Project is located in the Xiamen Torch High-Tech Zone. As a key project in Fujian Province, this engineering endeavor involves a high-rise heavy steel factory building, with each individual structure utilizing 29,000 tons of steel and boasting a total floor area exceeding 180,000 square meters. During construction, the project pioneered the use of large-span planar trusses (each weighing up to 70 tons), assembled into multiple facade sections. This innovative approach effectively addressed several technical challenges, including limited on-site lifting space for multiple work teams, intersecting movement paths, streamlined construction processes, and stringent assembly precision requirements. In the lifting phase, the project mobilized eight large crawler cranes, ten truck cranes, and eight aerial work platforms. Remarkably, the assembly, welding, and lifting of over 140 truss units were completed within just 60 days. Additionally, all major structural steel components were installed and welded within six months. Throughout the entire process, no safety incidents or quality issues occurred. Leaders from central, provincial, and municipal government authorities visited the construction site on multiple occasions to observe and provide guidance, consistently praising the project for its exceptional execution and adherence to high standards.
